The Capacity tab provides a slot-level view of your center’s exam scheduling. It shows all planned time slots along with their exam types, rooms, seat capacity, proctor assignments, and booking status. In this article, you will learn what information is available on the Capacity tab and what actions you can take from it.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:
  • Logged in with the appropriate role credentials (Center Admin, Center Manager, Proctor Lead, or Proctor) to reflect that other roles can also perform candidate actions.
  • Opened a center from the Center dashboard.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Navigate to the Capacity tab From the center detail page, click the Capacity tab at the top. You can also get here by clicking View Capacity Management → from the Quick Statistics panel on the Overview tab. 2. Review the slot list The Capacity tab displays all scheduled slots grouped by date and schedule name. Each row represents a time slot with the following columns:
  • Slot - the time window for the session. Displayed as a clickable blue link that opens the Seat Allocation view.
  • Exam type - the exam formats for the slot, shown as badges: CBT, PBT, or both.
  • Step - the workflow step associated with the slot.
  • Rooms - the number of rooms assigned to the slot.
  • Total capacity - the combined seat count across all rooms assigned to the slot.
  • Proctors - proctor avatars assigned to the slot. Click the + icon to assign additional proctors.
  • Bookings - shows the number of candidates in two stages: Lobby (candidates who have registered and are waiting to be checked in) and Checked-in (candidates who have completed the check-in process and are ready for the exam). Displayed as a count with a mini progress bar.
Each slot row also has a delete (trash) icon on the far right to remove the slot. 3. Create a planning slot Click the + Planning button at the top right to open the Recurring availability modal. This lets you create recurring time slots for a workflow step across selected days. 4. Search for a slot Use the Search (Ctrl+K) bar for windows and (Cmd+K) for Mac at the top right to search for slots by assessment or schedule name. The list filters in real time as you type. 5. Filter slots Click the Filter icon to narrow down slots by criteria such as date, exam type, or time slot. 6. Export capacity data Click the Export button at the top right to download the capacity data as a CSV spreadsheet. Any active filters or search terms will be applied to the export. 7. Open the Seat Allocation view Click on a slot’s time link to open the Seat Allocation view, where you can see individual seat assignments, candidate allocations, and per-seat proctor assignments for that slot. 8. Navigate between pages If there are more slots than the page can display, use the page controls at the bottom right to move between pages. You can adjust the Rows per page setting.
Additional Tips
  • Slots are grouped by both date and schedule name, making it easy to identify different sessions running on the same day.
  • The Proctors column gives you a quick visual of staffing without needing to open each slot individually.
  • If a slot shows bookings but no proctors, consider assigning proctors before the session starts.
