Once a proctor clicks on the Check-in option for a candidate, the system opens a detailed check-in panel. This panel guides the proctor through the necessary steps to verify the candidate and complete the check-in process.

Overview of the Check-In Panel

The check-in panel provides all the required information and actions in one place. It typically includes:
  • Candidate details (name and email)
  • Current status (e.g., Checked In or not yet completed)
  • Sections for Seat Allocation, ID Capture, and Face ID
  • A Complete Check In button to finalize the process

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Review Candidate Status
  • At the top of the panel, you can see the candidate’s current status.
  • If check-in is not yet completed, the system will indicate that the process is pending.
2. Verify Seat Allocation
  • The Seat Allocation section shows the assigned room and seat.
  • Confirm that the candidate is seated correctly.
  • If required, you can edit the seat allocation using the edit (pencil) icon.
3. Capture Candidate ID
  • In the ID Capture section, record the candidate’s identification details.
  • This ensures the candidate’s identity matches the registered information.
  • The system may show whether the ID has been captured or is pending.
4. Capture Face ID
  • In the Face ID section, capture the candidate’s facial verification.
  • This step helps ensure identity validation and exam integrity.
5. Complete the Check-In
  • Once all required steps are verified and completed:
    • Click on Complete Check In.
  • The candidate’s status will update to Checked In.

Next steps after check-in

  • The candidate is marked as Checked-in in the dashboard.
  • They are now ready to begin the exam process.
  • Their check-in details (time and proctor) are recorded in their profile.

Best Practices
  • Ensure the candidate is physically present at the assigned seat.
  • Carefully verify ID and facial details before completing check-in.
  • Do not complete check-in if any discrepancies are found.
  • Use the edit option only when seat reassignment is necessary.
