Camera is disconnected or not poweredEnsure your built-in or external camera is connected and turned on. If using a webcam, reconnect it or try a different USB port.
Browser camera permission is blockedClick the lock icon in the browser address bar, open site settings, set Camera to Allow, and reload the page.
System-level camera access is disabledOpen camera privacy settings on your system and allow camera access for your browser (Chrome, Edge, or Firefox).
Incorrect camera selectedIf multiple cameras are available, select the correct one in the device selector before joining the interview. Disable unused devices if needed.
Another application is using the cameraClose apps like Zoom, Teams, Meet, or Skype, and close any browser tabs using the camera. Restart the browser afterward.
Browser or operating system is outdatedUpdate your browser to the latest version and ensure your operating system is up to date.
Physical blockage or poor lightingRemove any webcam covers, clean the lens, and ensure your face is well-lit without strong backlighting.
Cache, extensions, or session conflictClear browser cache and cookies, disable ad-blockers or privacy extensions, or try Incognito/Private mode.
