If your video freezes, lags, or becomes choppy during the Live interview, this checklist helps you identify and resolve common network, browser, and device performance issues.

Unstable or slow internet connectionSwitch to a wired LAN connection or strong Wi-Fi, move closer to the router, and pause downloads or streaming.
Browser-related issuesUpdate your browser to the latest version, clear cache, and try joining in Incognito or Private mode.
Device performance overloadClose all non-essential applications and tabs, then restart your device before rejoining.
VPN, firewall, or proxy interferenceTurn off VPN or proxy services if allowed, and switch to an unrestricted network.
Camera or app conflictsClose video apps such as Zoom, Teams, or Meet, then rejoin the interview session.

Additional tips:

  • Run a network speed test and ensure latency stays below 100 ms.
  • Update your webcam drivers or try using a different device.
  • Refresh the interview tab only after completing the fixes above.
