Workflow Tools Enhancements
This month, we introduced enhancements focused on improving candidate readiness, platform stability, and scheduling reliability.🆕 Feature
1. System Check Embedded in Candidate Emails Description: Candidates now see a device and connectivity check prompt embedded directly below the CTA in their Talview emails, guiding them to verify their system setup before an interview or assessment. What’s New- System check prompt rendered below the primary CTA in all candidate email templates.
- Covers browser compatibility, camera, microphone, and network checks.
- No action required from Recruiters - applies automatically to all outgoing emails.

- Workflow Tools — Platform Stability Fixes
Issue: Evaluator reminder emails were not triggering for pending evaluations.
Solution: Fixed so evaluator reminder emails now send correctly. 2️⃣ Candidate Invitation Emails Failing to Send
Issue: Candidate invitation emails were failing to send after an invite action.
Solution: Now send as expected after an invite action. 3️⃣ Notification Inbox Not Syncing
Issue: New notifications were not appearing without a page refresh.
Solution: Notifications now appear in real time. 4️⃣ Unified Assessment Steps Incorrectly Marked as Completed
Issue: Unified assessment steps were incorrectly marked as “Completed” after only the first section.
Solution: Completion logic now reflects actual status. 5️⃣ Ivy AI Scores Displaying as 0
Issue: Ivy AI total score was displaying as 0 in the score side panel.
Solution: Score display is now corrected. 6️⃣ Proview Index Not Visible in Tabular View
Issue: Proview index was not visible in tabular view and side panel.
Solution: Now displays correctly in both views. 7️⃣ Candidate List Not Loading for Evaluators
Issue: Candidate list was not loading for Evaluators.
Solution: Now loads correctly. 8️⃣ Time Slab Display Breaking for Slots Ending at 12:00 AM
Issue: Time slab display was breaking for slots ending at 12:00 AM.
Solution: Now renders correctly.
- Scheduler — Payment, Booking & Notification Fixes
Issue: Sessions were being scheduled even when payment confirmation failed.
Solution: Sessions now only schedule upon successful payment confirmation. 2️⃣ Candidate Unable to Retry After Failed Transaction
Issue: Candidates were unable to change slot and retry after a failed payment.
Solution: Retry flow now works correctly after a failed transaction. 3️⃣ Incorrect Redirect from Payment Gateway
Issue: Candidates were redirected incorrectly when using the back button from the payment gateway.
Solution: Redirect logic is now corrected. 4️⃣ Sessions Incorrectly Scheduled 14 Days Out
Issue: Sessions were being incorrectly scheduled 14 days out for some candidates. Solution: Scheduling logic is now corrected. 5️⃣ Slots Not Appearing on Page Refresh
Issue: Slots were not appearing when refreshing the booking page mid-flow.
Solution: Slots now appear correctly on page refresh. 6️⃣ Slots Incorrectly Marked as Holidays
Issue: Slots were being incorrectly marked as holidays when another interviewer was available.
Solution: Holiday marking logic now accounts for interviewer availability. 7️⃣ Reminder Emails Incorrectly Triggering
Issue: Reminder emails were incorrectly triggering for Intelligent Scheduling-enabled users.
Solution: Reminder email logic is now corrected.

1️⃣ ID Verification EnhancementsDescription: Improved ID verification now checks for document expiry, date-of-birth anomalies, and validates that the captured ID matches the intended document. 2️⃣ Consent Data Shown Based on Configurations
Description: The consent page now shows only relevant Terms and Conditions content based on what is configured, ensuring candidates see accurate information when camera and screen sharing are disabled.
🐞 Bug Fixes
1️⃣ Camera and Mic Permissions in DiagnosticsIssue: When mic was disabled, camera permission was also getting disabled.
Solution: Disabling the microphone no longer inadvertently disables camera permissions. 2️⃣ Consistency in Incident Triggering

Solution: Resolved intermittent failures where incidents were not being triggered consistently. 3️⃣ Floating Widget Overlap
Issue: Floating widget was overlapping with exam MCQ sections, affecting UX.
Solution: Fixed UI issue where the floating widget overlapped exam engine content. 4️⃣ Monitoring After Session Completion
Issue: Camera and audio were being monitored even after session completion.
Solution: Camera and audio monitoring now correctly stops upon session completion.
Center Management (V8)
🆕 Features
1. Suspend a Candidate’s SessionDescription: Proctors can now terminate a candidate’s session directly from the monitoring dashboard when a serious violation is detected. What’s New
- A reason for suspension must be selected before confirming.
- The candidate is immediately shown a session terminated screen upon suspension.
Description: Proctors can now add internal notes to a candidate’s session at any point during onboarding or the exam. What’s New
- Notes can be added using the “Add Note” option in the dock.
- Notes are visible only to the proctor and their organisation and can be referenced when reviewing completed sessions.
Description: Hovering over an incident marker on the session timeline now reveals a pop-up showing all flagged events grouped to form that incident. What’s New
- Pop-up shows all events flagged and grouped to form that incident, along with their individual timestamps.
- Helps proctors and reviewers quickly understand what occurred during a suspicious moment without scrubbing through the recording.
Description: Center admins can now click on any candidate in the candidate list to view a detailed profile of that candidate’s session. What’s New
- Shows registration details, check-in information, and captured submissions with match and mismatch indicators.
- Displays a chronological timeline of key events including incidents and exam milestones.
Description: Center admins can now take candidate-level actions directly from the console. What’s New
- Report Incident: Center admins can report an incident against a candidate with a description and action taken.
- Mark Absent: Center admins can mark a candidate as absent when they fail to show up for their exam.
- Decline Booking: Center admins can decline a candidate’s exam booking before they have appeared for the exam.
⚙️ Enhancements
1️⃣ Video Evidence for Incidents in Summary ReportDescription: Each incident in the session summary report now includes video evidence captured at the time of the incident. What’s New
- Reviewers can watch relevant video clips directly within the report.
- Makes it easier to assess incidents without scrubbing through the full session recording.
🐞 Bug Fixes
1️⃣ Timeline SeekIssue: Clicking anywhere within an incident region on the session timeline would always redirect video playback to the start of the incident, regardless of where within the incident the reviewer clicked.
Solution: Clicking within an incident region now correctly seeks video playback to the exact point clicked.

Interview Rooms Enhancements
This month, we introduced enhancements focused on improving code execution reliability, session recording, and session stability.⚙️ Enhancements
1. CodeJam - Migrated to Judge0 Execution EngineDescription: CodeJam code execution now runs on Judge0, replacing the previous JDoodle integration for more reliable and faster results. 2. VR Session Recording Report
Description: A dedicated recording report is now available for Video Room sessions.
🐞 Bug Fixes
1️⃣ Issue: Face auth image was corrupted in playback, leading to incorrect verification status.Solution: Source image handling is now corrected and renders accurately in playback. 2️⃣ Issue: Face auth image was broken after completing a live session.
Solution: Face auth image now renders correctly in post-session playback. 3️⃣ Issue: Candidates were stuck on a loading screen after completing face authentication. Solution: Candidates are now correctly redirected to the Interview Room after face authentication. 4️⃣ Issue: Interviewers were intermittently unable to join live sessions with a “something went wrong” error.
Solution: Session join flow is now stable. 5️⃣ Issue: CodeJam sync was broken for ACS sessions — changes made by one participant were not visible to the other.
Solution: Sync now works correctly across all providers. 6️⃣ Issue: The post-session feedback page was stuck loading indefinitely after leaving a session.
Solution: Feedback submission now works as expected. 7️⃣ Issue: Users were redirected to an incorrect authentication URL when trying to join a live session.
Solution: Redirect URL logic is now corrected. 8️⃣ Issue: Interviewers were unable to view the candidate’s secondary camera feed when the candidate was in portrait mode.
Solution: Secondary camera feed now displays correctly in portrait mode.
Assessment Engine & Candidate Experience Updates
