Bug fixes
  1. Error in loading Proview error for attendees Issue: Candidates were getting ‘error in Proview loading’ screen when their session got disconnected because of low network bandwidth. Solution: Now the candidate is shown an appropriate message suggesting the next steps - To reload the page to continue
  2. Window Focus Out Alert Trigger Issue: The window focus out alert was being triggered when users clicked on an iframe embedded within the exam screen, causing unnecessary interruptions during the exam. Solution: The system has been updated to recognize iframe interactions on the exam screen as valid, preventing the window focus out alert from being triggered. This ensures a smoother exam experience without unnecessary alerts.
  3. UI copy enhancements on attendee The proctoring attendee platform on V7+ has updated the UI copy for following buttons: Proceed to exam: Proceed ahead Start Test: Start environment check
  4. Multiple People Detected inaccuracy The “Multiple People detected” alert has been improved to enhance the accuracy of its detection. Previously, the AI model checked for a people and logged the flag even when the confidence was 50% , which led to an increased likelihood of false positives. We have adjusted this confidence index to 0.72 seconds, thereby improving the efficiency of the alert.
Note: A small percentage of false alerts may still occur, as the AI model does not achieve 100% accuracy.
  5. Face Not Detected inaccuracy The “Face Not Detected” alert has been improved to enhance the accuracy of its detection. Previously, the AI model checked for a face every 40 milliseconds, which led to an increased likelihood of false positives. We have adjusted this interval to 0.5 seconds, thereby improving the efficiency of the alert.
Note: We are monitoring this flag to improve the efficiency further, however AI model does not achieve 100% accuracy.
