Performance optimization of attendee V7+The interval at which the alert to detect object and face has been increased. This will reduce the usage of CPU, thereby improving device performance. This has been deployed to Cambridge’s pre prod. Drawing of the face inside the camera thumbnail has also has been removed.
Camera preview is hidden by default during session recordingWhen the pre flight checks are initiated for the attendee, their camera’s preview will be hidden by default. The attendee will be informed via a tooltip that that they can maximize the camera preview by hovering over the camera thumbnail.
Updated message to test takers for hardware audio testThe text displayed to the test taker during the hardware audio check has been updated. This prevents confusion on whether the they have successfully completed this check.

Attempt to retry connecting with streaming after session completionIssue: Attempt to retry connecting with both streaming service providers- Twilio and Livekit was appearing after proctored session was completed. The retry connection attempt is only supposed to appear when proctored session is activeSolution: The issue has been resolved, and the streaming connection retry attempt wont appear unless the error is encountered during an active proctored session.
White screen issue faced while attending a quizIssue: There was a white/blank screen appearing when attendee was giving a quiz.Solution: This was caused by special characters being provided in the instructions box. The issue has been resolved. Special characters as well as rich text instructions is now allowed and can be provided.
Proctor and candidate instruction not showing on Embedded playback viewIssue: An assessment created in Recruit, with proctor & candidate instructions provided was not appearing in the embedded playback view.Solution: The issue has been resolved, and the respective instructions will now appear in the embedded view.
Restricting quiz availability time to 48 hours aheadTo allocate sufficient time for proctoring resources, admins will now need to set the quiz open time at least 48 hours from the current date and time. This enhancement includes displaying a warning message if the user attempts to set an earlier open time.Additionally, the “Save” button will be disabled until an appropriate date and time is set according to this rule, ensuring compliance.

Minutes label was missing in booking pageIssue: The minutes label was missing from the time limit in the quiz details on the booking page, potentially leading to confusion.Solution: Now when the candidate views the booking page, the time limit displayed contains the minute count along with the label
Scrollable bars in the booking calendarIssue: There were two scroll bars - one horizontal and one vertical on the booking calendar displayed to the candidate. minutes label was missing from the time limit in the quiz details on the booking page, potentially leading to confusion.Solution: These scrollbars have now been disabled.
Slots were not correctly displayed against the proctor’s availabilityIssue: When the candidate views the CX calendar, slots were being displayed even after the last slot of the proctor’s availability.Solution: The issue has been fixed, now if the “last slot BE to_date” is the lesser of the attributes, then the candidate will only see slot up to there.
Photo Capture FieldRespondents can now capture their photo directly within the form using their device’s camera.This feature includes:
Face Detection: Ensures there’s a straight face detected in the camera before allowing to capture the image. Available for both photo capture and image upload fields.
Preview: allowing respondents to verify their image before submission.
Prefill Fields with Respondent DataTo streamline the form-filling process, fields can now be pre-filled with the respondent’s previously known data. This reduces redundancy and ensures a smoother experience when respondents fill out a form for the first time.
Field Grouping with Visual Sections
You can now group multiple fields into sections within a form, making it easier to organize related fields.
Each section can include visual borders, providing a structured layout for respondents.
Regex Validation for Short Text Fields
Implement regex (regular expressions) for short text fields to enforce specific input formats (e.g., email addresses, phone numbers).
Add custom validation messages to guide respondents when their input does not meet the required format.
