IS enhancements to support the certification use case

• Slot Booking for Live proctored exams: Candidates can now book exam slots directly through the LMS platform with automatic time zone adjustments, ensuring a seamless scheduling experience in their local time.
• Flexible Rescheduling: Candidates may reschedule their live proctored exam slots until the scheduled start time, allowing for greater flexibility and improved attendance.
• Extended Booking Window: The slot booking process now includes a designated booking window from the exam’s start to end dates, giving candidates ample time to select a suitable slot without confusion.

The features mentioned above will provide the greatest benefit to the proctor management team and the test takers.

• Description: Consolidate redundant notifications for evaluators into a single alert with an occurrence count, simplifying acknowledgment.
• Benefits:
  • Reduced Notification Overload: Evaluators receive a single grouped alert instead of multiple identical ones.
  • Efficient Acknowledgment: Acknowledge all repeated notifications in one click, saving time and effort.
  • Enhanced User Experience: Streamlined notifications reduce clutter, improving focus during evaluations.

• Description: Automatically close the chat window when an interviewer opens the full view of evaluation or resume for a distraction-free experience.
• Benefits:
  • Enhanced Focus: Prevents distractions by closing the chat window when the full view of critical documents is opened.
  • Cleaner Workspace: Maintains an uncluttered interface, helping users concentrate on the evaluation or resume content.
  • Better Experience for Interviewers: Enables smoother transitions between different tools without manual window management.

• Description: Initiate VoIP calls to candidates directly from the interviewer landing page to reduce no shows, ensure seamless communication and interview flow.

1. Configurable links in Terms and Conditions page With the latest update following are configurable at tenant level

2. Error handling for internet connectivity issues/ video streaming disconnection When a test taker’s internet connection is disrupted or if there is a disconnection with the video streaming provider, then the system will display an error page. This page and the content within is translatable into proview supported languages
   • If the video streaming provider is “Livekit”, then the test taker is presented with an appropriate error message along with instructions to perform a refresh.
   • If the video streaming provider is “Twilio”, then the test taker is presented with a “Retry Connection” button. By clicking this, an attempt will be made to reconnect with Twilio video streaming.

1. Proctor to candidate chat in platform streaming Issue: If the service provider is Platform streaming, the chat by proctor was not visible to test taker. Solution: With this update the test taker will be able to see the chat messages sent by the proctor.
2. Environment test multiple submissions issue Issue: Due to internet issues during the pre-flight checks, test takers were able to click the “Submit” button multiple times after recording their environment video. This caused multiple environment test submissions to be displayed to the proctor for approval. Solution: The issue has been resolved and multiple submissions are prevented.

1. Manually added description by the reviewer When manually adding flags, reviewers will now also have an option to add a description. This description will now also be displayed in the alert logs.
2. Updated ‘Completion time’ to ‘End time’ in Summary tab of playback The verbiage has been changed from ‘Completion time’ to ‘End time’ to accommodate for scenarios where the reviewer has terminated the session manually.
3. Adding pre-defined reason for manual Proview Index change When reviewers (proctor/test admin) update the index manually they will be required to select a reason from the dropdown. Additionally, they can also add a short description. These changes will also be visible in the summary tab.
4. Session completed API enhancements Integrating systems can manually close open sessions using the /v1/session/completed API. This API was only accepting session IDs in the past. Users can now also pass session UUID’s to manually close open sessions.

Integrations

1. Drive scheduling workflow is now available
   • If Live Proctoring is selected, a scheduling dropdown will appear. Drive can now be chosen as a scheduling type from the available options.
   • On the test taker’s side, if the quiz is live proctored, a side panel will open with a message informing you that they’ll need to book a slot before starting the quiz.
   • Upon clicking the Manage Booking button, a calendar will open where the available dates and times can be viewed.

1. Browser plugin supports Secure Browser only use case Canvas and D2L LMS instructors will now be allowed to enable the Secure Browser for quizzes without the need to enable proctoring.
2. Proview index rating is displayed in playback list view
   • The Proview Index rating (high/medium/low) is now visible in the Proview playback list, allowing users to quickly identify and review high-risk sessions without extra clicks.
   • Only test takers that have completed attempting their proctored session will have their playback details appear here. This is irrespective of role- student and learner are both encompassed.
   • Search can be performed by the attributes- User ID, Full name, Email, Rating
3. Enrollment sync for test takers in “Learner” role from D2L Previously, test takers that are going to attempt quiz in “Learner” role weren’t appearing when user would perform enrollment sync in the LMS dashboard for bulk scheduling. Now that limitation has been addressed.
4. Slot availability for self-scheduling based on quiz and proctor availability Candidates will be able to book exam slots that align with both the quiz’s opening/closing times and the proctor’s availability, candidates can only book within a timeframe that fits both the exam and the proctor’s schedule.

1. Proview browser extension installation message Issue: Test takers were prompted to install the Proview browser extension even when no proctoring was configured. Solution: The installation message will now only appear when proctoring is configured, allowing non-proctored quizzes to proceed without interruption. The validation script has been updated here
2. Minutes label missing in quiz details Issue: The minutes label was missing from the time limit in the quiz details on the booking page. Solution: The issue has been resolved. When the test taker clicks on the “manage booking” button and views the quiz’s details, the time limit now displays the count along with “minutes” label avoiding any confusion.
3. Candidate/proctor instructions & reference links were not displayed Issue: Candidate and proctor instructions as well as the reference links were not getting displayed in Proview proctor app, even if the instructor had provided them when configuring a quiz. Solution: The issue has been resolved, and this information will now appear.
4. Proctor was not getting added to the event in Proview Issue: When a candidate books a slot against a proctor’s availability, the live proctored event is automatically created in proview. The proctor was not getting added automatically to the event in draft status in proview. The test admin would have to manually add the proctor once more before scheduling and publishing the event. Solution: The issue has been resolved. Now, when a candidate books a slot, and the event is created in proview, the proctor is automatically added to the event.

New Features

1. Add Image: Users can now embed images directly into forms, including branding elements like customer logos, instructional images, or visuals that enhance form context. This feature supports brand consistency and creates a more cohesive user experience.
2. Auto-Save: Auto-save has been added for all form edits. Changes in the form builder are now saved in real-time, securing progress and eliminating the need to worry about lost updates.
3. Dependent Dropdowns: This feature allows certain dropdown fields to adjust based on a preceding dropdown selection. For example, selecting a country in country dropdown will dynamically filter options in the “State” dropdown.
4. Disabled Fields: Admins can now disable specific fields within a form. Disabled fields appear but cannot be edited by respondents, making them ideal for informational content or static placeholder text.

Enhancements

1. Regex for Text Input: Regex support for text input blocks allows to enforce specific formats for inputs, such as validating text or phone number formats at the entry level to ensure data accuracy.
2. Duplicate Block: Building large forms with repetitive fields is now easier with the “Duplicate Block” feature. Users can quickly create copies of any block, streamlining the construction of forms with multiple similar fields.
