Before You Begin
Make sure that:- The slot you want to delete exists in the Capacity schedule.
- The slot does not have candidates currently taking the exam, as such slots cannot be deleted.
- If candidates are assigned to the slot, they may need to be rescheduled to another slot before deletion.
Step-by-Step Guide
1. Open the Capacity tab
Navigate to the Capacity tab inside the center configuration. This page displays all scheduled slots along with details such as date, time, exam type, assigned rooms, and seat capacity.2. Locate the slot you want to delete
Scroll through the Capacity table to find the slot that needs to be removed. Each row represents a scheduled slot and displays the relevant scheduling details.3. Open the slot actions menu
On the right side of the slot row, click the menu to view the available actions for that slot.4. Select the delete option
From the menu, click Delete slot. A confirmation dialog will appear to prevent accidental deletion.5. Review the deletion confirmation
The confirmation modal displays a warning indicating that deleting the slot will permanently remove it from the Capacity schedule.6. Confirm slot deletion
Click Delete slot to proceed with the deletion. The slot will be removed from the Capacity table and will no longer be available for candidate booking.✅ Next steps
After deleting a slot, you may want to continue managing the center’s schedule:- Create new slots using the Planning feature.
- Edit existing slots if scheduling adjustments are required.
- Assign proctors or invigilators for upcoming slots.
- Monitor candidate bookings in the Candidates tab.
