Before a candidate begins their exam, they are required to complete a 360 environment scan - a full rotation of their surroundings captured on camera during onboarding. Reviewing this scan lets you verify that the candidate’s environment was clear of any unauthorized materials or assistance at the start of the session.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Scroll to the Candidate Submissions section of the session report.
  2. Click the 360 Environment Scan row to expand it. The pass or fail status is shown on the right side of the header.
Note: The pass or fail status reflects whether the candidate’s environment scan was approved during onboarding, either by the proctor or automatically by the system.
  3. A preview of the images captured from the candidate’s environment scan are displayed.
  4. Use the left and right arrows to pan through the images and inspect their surroundings.
  5. Click on any image to expand it and inspect it more closely. Click the “✕” in the top right of the modal to close it and return to the report.
Additional tips
  • The View previous submissions toggle only appears when more than one submission exists. If there was only one submission, it won’t be shown.
  • If the candidate has multiple submissions, you can review their previous scans as well.
