The system assigns a severity level to each incident based on the events detected, but this may not always reflect what you observe when reviewing the recording. If you believe an incident has been rated too high or too low, you can manually override the severity before submitting your review.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Click the second icon in the right strip to open the Incidents pane.
  2. Find the incident whose severity you want to update. The current severity is shown as a badge on the right side of the incident row.
  3. Click the severity badge to open the severity dropdown.
  4. Select the severity that best reflects the incident:
    OptionWhen to use
HighThe incident reflects a significant integrity concern
MediumThe incident is notable but not critical
LowThe incident is minor or needs limited follow-up
  5. The severity badge updates immediately to reflect your selection.
Additional tips
  • If you’re unsure which severity to assign, review the incident details and any available video clips before making a change.
  • Severity changes are not saved until you submit your review via Recalculate Risk index. You can adjust the severity at any point before submitting.
