Not every event flagged by the system accurately reflects a violation. Dismissing an individual event lets you remove a false positive detection without dismissing the entire incident, keeping your review accurate without losing the context of what else was flagged.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Click the second icon in the right strip to open the Incidents panel.
  2. Click the chevron on the incident that contains the event you want to dismiss to expand it. The individual events that contributed to the incident will appear below.
  3. Click the dismiss icon on the right side of the event you want to dismiss.
  4. The event is immediately struck through, indicating it has been dismissed.
Additional tips
  • When you dismiss an event, the incident severity may be updated based on the configuration and its logic.
  • Before dismissing an event, cross-reference it with the video evidence to validate whether it was correctly flagged by the system.
