The Face Capture section allows reviewers to verify a candidate’s identity against their base image. In this article, you will learn how to access the face capture submission and review previous submissions.

Viewing the face capture submission

  1. Scroll to the Candidate Submissions section.
  2. Locate the Face Capture dropdown. The pass or fail status is visible on the right before expanding.
  3. Click the dropdown to expand it. The most current Session Face Verification is displayed, showing:
    • Session face capture: photo taken during the session
    • Base image: the face captured the first time the candidate took a proctored exam
  4. The match status is displayed to the right, showing Matched or Mismatch.

Reviewing previous submissions

Click the View Previous Submissions dropdown at the bottom of the section. Each entry shows:
  • Date and time
  • Face photo
  • Matched or Mismatch status
Additional tipsIf the status shows Mismatch, cross-reference with the Contributing Incidents section for any related flagged activity.
