After registration is closed, candidates should no longer be able to open or submit the form. If candidates can still access or submit the form, it indicates a visibility or cache-related issue. Here are the most common scenarios and how to resolve them.

🔎 Troubleshooting Common Issues

IssueHow to Fix It
Registration URL cached on candidate’s browserAsk candidates to refresh the page or open the form in incognito. Cached versions may show older states.
Form is embedded in a custom page without closure validationIf embedded via iFrame or custom URL, ensure your team uses Talview secured links that enforce registration closure.
Delayed platform syncWait 1–2 minutes for status to fully propagate to candidate facing pages.
Registration end time set incorrectlyConfirm the end time and see if it is correct and is not in the future.
Roles or access overrides enabled for specific candidates (rare)Admins or internal testers may still see forms due to elevated access. Verify candidate type and permissions.

Additional Tips:

Ask affected candidates to share a screenshot and timestamp to help Talview Support verify which registration window is being accessed.
