After a live interview is completed, Talview generates an Interview Insights summary that includes an AI-powered overview of the session, candidate strengths, areas of improvement, key discussion points, and recommended next steps. In this article, you will learn how to access Interview Insights for a candidate once their interview has been completed.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:
  • Logged in to Workflow Tools with your evaluator credentials.
  • A candidate whose interview has a Completed meeting status.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Open the workflow From the left sidebar, navigate to Workflows and select the relevant workflow (e.g., Software Engineer Backend).
  • You’ll see the candidate pipeline with stage tabs across the top, such as Screening, Technical Interview, and Technical Interview.
2. Navigate to the interview stage Click on the interview stage tab where the completed interview took place (e.g., Technical Interview).
  • The candidate list will display with columns for Name, Interview Time, Meeting Status, Attendees, Authentication, Candidate Status, Recording, and Organizer.
3. Locate the candidate Find the candidate whose Interview Insights you want to review. You can use the search bar at the top right to search by name.
  • Confirm that the candidate’s Meeting Status shows Completed.
4. Click View in the Recording column In the candidate’s row, click the View button under the Recording column.
  • This opens the Interview Summary page, where you can review the full Interview Insights for that session.
5. Review the Interview Insights The Interview Summary page is divided into two main areas:
  • Left panel - Displays the interview recording with a play button, along with session details such as the Session ID, interview title, date and time, and the names of the Candidate, Interviewer, and Organizer.
  • Right panel - Contains three tabs:
    • Overview - Includes the candidate’s name, a link to their resume, and the AI-generated Interview Insights broken down into collapsible sections such as Interview Summary, Strengths, Key Discussion Points, Areas of Improvement, Recommended Next Steps, and Candidate Performance.
    • Transcript - Displays a full timestamped transcript of everything said during the interview, with timestamps shown as offsets from the start of the recording.
    • Verification - Shows the candidate’s face authentication status and compliance check details.

Additional Tips
  • Interview Insights are only available after the interview’s meeting status is marked as Completed.
  • You can use the navigation arrows (< and >) at the top of the Interview Summary page to move between candidates without going back to the list.
  • The top bar also displays the candidate’s current evaluation status (e.g., Yet to evaluate), so you can quickly see whether the candidate still needs to be assessed.
  • To begin your evaluation directly from this page, click the Evaluate button in the top-right corner.
