The Remove Center option in the Centers tab allows coordinators to unassign a center from a specific exam. This is useful when a center is no longer needed for an exam, without affecting its availability across the system. In this article, you can understand how to remove a center from an exam configuration.

Accessing the Remove Option

  1. Navigate to the Exams section.
  2. Select the required exam.
  3. Go to the Centers tab.
  4. Locate the center you want to remove.
  5. Click on the Delete (🗑️) icon next to the center.

What Happens When You Remove a Center

  • The center is removed from the selected exam only.
  • It will no longer be available for candidate bookings under this exam.
  • The center remains available in the system and can still be used for:
    • Other exams
    • Future configurations
Important Notes
  • This action does not delete the center from the database.
  • You can re-add the same center later using the + Add Center option.
  • Removing a center only affects its association with the current exam.
Removing a center simply unlinks it from an exam without impacting its existence in the system. This ensures flexibility, allowing coordinators to update exam configurations without affecting shared center data.
