The Form Builder lets you create forms that collect information from candidates or capture structured feedback from evaluators during your hiring process. In this article, you’ll learn what the Form Builder is, what types of forms you can create, where it fits in your workflow, and who can access it.

What is a Form Builder?

The Form Builder is where you create and manage forms for your hiring workflows. You build forms by adding fields onto a canvas, customise the appearance to match your organisation’s branding, and publish them when they’re ready. Published forms can be shared directly with candidates or evaluators or attached to a hiring workflow so they appear as a step in the process.

What types of forms can you create?

The Form Builder supports two form types:
  • Candidate registration form: designed for candidates. Use it when you need to collect information such as name, contact details, qualifications, or documents before an assessment or event.
  • Panel evaluation form: designed for evaluators and interviewers. Use it when you need them to score candidates and record structured feedback during or after an interview.
You choose the form type when you create a form. This choice determines how the form behaves once it’s published. For a detailed comparison, see What is the difference between a Registration form and an Evaluation form?

Where does the Form Builder fit in your workflow?

A typical flow looks like this: you create a form, add the fields you need, preview it to check how it looks on web and mobile, and publish it. Once published, you either share the form’s link or QR code directly, or attach it to a hiring workflow so candidates or evaluators reach it as a step in the process. As responses come in, you can review them from the form’s response list.

Who can access the Form Builder?

The Form Builder is available to Tenant Admins and Platform Admins. When you log in to the application, the side navigation shows different sections based on your access level. If your account has admin access, you’ll see Forms in the side navigation, which is where you access the Form Builder. Recruiters and other roles don’t see the Forms entry, so form creation and response management are limited to admins. If you’re an admin and don’t see Forms in the side navigation, check with your organisation admin to confirm your account has the correct access level.
