Being unable to view a candidate’s score report or assessment playback can hold up your evaluation and leave you without key information you need to make a decision. This is usually caused by the candidate not having completed the assessment yet, a browser issue, or a connectivity problem on Talview. In this article, you will find the most common causes and fixes to get the score report or playback loading so you can proceed with your evaluation.

🔎 Troubleshooting Common Issues

What Might Be WrongHow to Fix It
The candidate hasn’t completed the assessment yetScore reports and playbacks are only available once the candidate’s assessment status shows Completed.
If the status shows Invited or In Progress, the report won’t be available yet.
Check the candidate’s status and wait for them to complete it before trying again.
The page hasn’t loaded the latest dataTry refreshing your browser by pressing Ctrl + R (Windows) or Command + R (Mac) to reload the page and fetch the latest data.
Your browser is blocking the content from loadingTry opening the candidate’s assessment details in a different browser. Chrome, Edge, or Firefox are recommended for the best compatibility.
A slow or unstable internet connection is preventing the content from loadingCheck your internet connection and switch to a more stable network if possible.
Once reconnected, try accessing the score report or playback again.
The playback is still being processedFor Ivy (Interview-Based) and async video assessments, playback may take some time to process after the candidate completes the assessment.
Wait a few minutes and refresh the page before trying again.
Your browser cache is causing a loading issueClear your browser cache by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows) or Command + Shift + Delete (Mac), reload the page, and try accessing the content again.
The assessment isn’t configured to generate a score reportSome assessment types may not produce a numerical or categorical score report.
Check with the recruiter to confirm what outputs are expected for that particular assessment.
Additional Tips
  • If the playback loads but freezes or buffers frequently, try lowering the playback quality if that option is available, or switch to a faster network connection.
  • For Ivy and async video assessments, playback processing times can vary. If the playback still isn’t available after a significant wait, reach out to the recruiter to check whether the session was recorded successfully.
  • If the score report is missing for multiple candidates in the same workflow, it may be an assessment configuration issue rather than a candidate-specific one. Flag this to the recruiter so they can investigate across all affected candidates at once.
  • If the issue persists after trying all the steps above, reach out to your admin or recruiter for further assistance.
