This is usually caused by a page loading issue, a navigation error, or a permission-related problem on Talview. You’re looking under the wrong stepEvaluations are tied to specific steps. Make sure you’ve navigated to the correct step in the candidate detail view where you originally submitted your evaluation.
The candidate has been reassigned to a different evaluatorIf the candidate was reassigned after you submitted your evaluation, you may no longer have access to view or edit it.
Reach out to the recruiter to confirm your current assignment status for that candidate.
The edit option isn’t visible due to a browser display issueTry clearing your browser cache by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows) or Command + Shift + Delete (Mac), reload the page, and navigate back to the candidate detail view to check again.
The workflow or step has been locked by the recruiterIf the recruiter has locked the workflow or step, evaluations may no longer be editable.

  • If you’re unsure whether your evaluation was submitted successfully in the first place, navigate to the candidate detail view and look for your name and recommendation under the relevant step, this confirms the submission went through.
  • If you need to make an urgent correction to a submitted evaluation and can’t find the edit option, reach out to the recruiter immediately so they’re aware of the situation while you work on resolving the access issue.
  • Only your own evaluation is editable, you can view but not modify evaluations submitted by other evaluators.
