How to Install and Position a Secondary Camera

Charge Your Device: Ensure that the mobile device you are using for the secondary camera is fully charged to avoid interruptions.
Functional Front Camera: Ensure your mobile device’s front camera is functional

QR Code Scanning:
- During your onboarding, you will see an option to connect your secondary camera using a QR code.
- Use your secondary device’s camera to scan the QR code.
Check for Permissions
- Your default browser will need permissions to access your camera and microphone.
- Read here on how to give permissions
Follow On-Screen Instructions:
- Read through the instructions and proceed to the next steps on your mobile device.

Choose an Optimal Location:
- Wide Angle: Place the secondary camera in a diagonal position from your test desk. Should not be more than 2 feet apart from your seat.
- Avoid Obstruction: Ensure that no objects or furniture block the camera’s line of sight.
Mounting the Camera:
- Use a tripod or a stable surface (like a shelf or table) to position the camera securely.
- If using a mobile phone holder or a stands, make sure it’s sturdy.
Height and Angle Adjustment:
- Position the camera at eye level or slightly above, directing it towards where you will be seated during the test.
- Tilt the camera downwards slightly to capture your face and immediate surroundings.

Ensure that both the primary and secondary devices remain connected to the internet throughout your test.
Run a quick internet speed test to confirm a stable connection is maintained.

Before beginning your test, double check that:

The secondary camera is properly linked to the primary device.
The positioning provides a clear and unobstructed view of your testing area.
Both devices are charged or connected to a power supply and ready for the duration of the exam.
