Steps to take a Proctored Longform Assessment (Web)
Step 1: Access the Assessment Link
- You will receive a mail with a link to access the assessment.
- Click on this link, this will redirect you to the Talview assessment portal.
- Enter your mail id and enter the confirmation code, sent to your email.
Step 2: System Requirements Check
Before starting the assessment, perform a system check:- Talview will prompt you to verify that your device meets the necessary requirements.
- Ensure your webcam and microphone are enabled and functioning, as these will be used during the proctoring process.
- Follow any prompts to resolve issues if your device does not meet the requirements.
Step 3: Read the Instructions
- Prior to commencing the assessment, read all provided instructions carefully.
- Familiarize yourself with the assessment format, timing, and any guidelines related to proctoring.
Prepare for the Proctored Environment:
- Make sure no unauthorized materials are present in your surroundings.
- Clear your desk of any items that could be considered as aids during the test.
- You may be asked to show your environment via your webcam.
Step 4: Begin the Assessment
- Once your identity is verified, and the camera, microphone and environment checks are complete, you can start your assessment.
- Follow the on-screen instructions carefully and attend to your assessment.
Step 5: Submit the Assessment and Feedback
- After completing the assessment, provide feedback on the session, then submit your test.
- You will receive a confirmation of your submission on the screen.
