After a candidate completes their exam, the Coordinator Console gives you access to their session details, including the session summary, incident count, ID verification, risk index, and session playback. In this article, you will learn how to review a candidate’s exam session in the Coordinator Console. Before You Begin Make sure you have:
  • Coordinator role access on your Talview account.
  • At least one candidate who has completed their exam. Only completed sessions can be reviewed.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Open the exam from the Exams list From the Coordinator Console, navigate to the Exams section using the left sidebar. Click on the exam you want to review. 2. Go to the assessment step tab Inside the exam, click the tab for the assessment step you want to review. The tab shows the total candidate count in brackets. 3. Find the completed candidate In the candidate list, locate the candidate whose session you want to review. Candidates who have finished their exam will show a Completed status in the Status column. 4. Click on the candidate’s row Click anywhere on the candidate’s row to open their session details panel on the right side of the screen. The panel shows the following information: At the top:
  • Candidate name, email address, and booking ID
  • Enrollment status (e.g., Completed)
  • Session Playback button - click this to watch the candidate’s recorded session
Session Summary card:
  • Incident Count - a breakdown of incidents flagged during the session, categorised by severity: High, Medium, and Low
  • Summary - a text summary of the session. If the summary is still being prepared, a message will indicate that it will appear shortly
ID Verification card:
  • Shows the front capture of the candidate’s ID document submitted during the session
Registration Details card:
  • Booking External ID - the unique ID for this candidate’s booking
  • Email - the candidate’s email address
  • Slot - the time slot the candidate was booked in
  • Center - the center the candidate attended
  • Exam Step - the assessment step the candidate completed
5. Watch the session playback To view the candidate’s session recording, click the Session Playback button at the top of the panel. This opens the full session recording for review.
Note: The session summary and risk index are based on the session up to the point the candidate’s session stopped. If the session was interrupted, the summary may be incomplete.
Additional Tips
  • The Incident Count gives you a quick at-a-glance view of potential integrity concerns - review High and Medium incidents first before drawing any conclusions about a candidate’s session.
  • Use the Session Playback alongside the Incident Count and session summary to get the full picture of a candidate’s exam before taking any action.
  • The session summary may take a few minutes to generate after the exam is completed. If it is not yet available, check back shortly.
  • ID Verification details are shown in the panel so you can confirm the candidate’s identity without navigating away from the session review.
