Why did the form fail to publish?

If you clicked Publish form in the Talview Form Editor and the form didn’t go live, it could be due to a validation issue, a network error, or an incomplete form setup. In this article, you’ll find the most common reasons for a failed publish and how to resolve them.

What Might Be Wrong	How to Fix It
The form canvas is empty, or all fields were removed before publishing.	Add at least one field to the canvas using the “/” command or the block picker. The form can’t be published without content.
One or more fields have validation errors (for example, a required label is missing, or a dropdown has no options).	Review each field on the canvas and check for any error indicators or highlighted fields. Fix the flagged issues and try publishing again.
A network error interrupted the publish action.	Check your internet connection and try again. Refresh the page with `Ctrl + Shift + R` (Windows) or `Command + Shift + R` (Mac), then click Publish form again.
The platform encountered a temporary server error.	Wait a few minutes and try publishing again. If the error persists, try logging out and logging back in before retrying.
Your browser session has expired or timed out.	Refresh the page or log out and log back in. Reopen the form from the Forms list and try publishing again. Your changes should still be saved due to auto-save.

Your form content is auto saved as you work, so you won’t lose your changes even if the publish action fails.
