Introduction

The Drive Management module in Talview Workflow Tools helps interviewers efficiently participate in large-scale or on-site hiring events, known as Drives. As an interviewer, you can view your schedule, join interviews, mark attendance, and complete evaluations - all from one interface. This FAQ covers everything you need to know about managing your activities within a drive, including how to view your interviews, handle no-shows, update availability, and complete post-interview actions.

1. Drive Assignments & Scheduling

Q1. How will I know if I’m added or removed from a drive? When you’re added to a drive, you’ll receive an email notification containing the drive name, date, and your assigned slots. If you’re removed, you’ll receive a removal confirmation. Once removed, you’ll stop receiving all future updates and notifications related to that drive. Q2. How do I update my availability if I can’t attend a scheduled drive? If you’re unable to attend the drive or specific time slots:
  • Inform your Recruiter or Drive Coordinator as soon as possible.
  • They can reassign your slots to another interviewer. If you have partial availability, communicate your preferred time window so the schedule can be adjusted accordingly.
Q3. Where can I see all my scheduled interviews in a drive? You can view your assigned interviews under the Interviews or My Schedule tab within the drive. Each entry displays:
  • Candidate name
  • Interview time and mode (in-person or virtual)
  • Assigned room or link
  • Status (Scheduled, Completed, No-Show)
Use filters to sort by status, candidate, or time for easier navigation. Q4. Can I see candidate profiles before the interview starts? Candidates are assigned dynamically based on their wait times. Hence, showing the profiles beforehand is not possible. Q5. Can I join an interview directly from the drive? Yes. Once the drive starts, the Join button becomes active next to each assigned interview slot. Click Join to start the session from within the Drive Dashboard. Ensure your camera, microphone, and browser permissions are enabled before joining. Q6. What should I do if I need a short break during back-to-back drive interviews? If you need a short break:
  • Inform the Drive Coordinator or Recruiter so they can pause or adjust the candidate flow.
  • Simply click Join again when you’re ready for the next interview. Avoid leaving sessions unattended, as it may delay subsequent interviews.
Q7. What happens if I accidentally miss joining a drive interview? If you miss an interview slot:
  • Notify your Recruiter immediately so they can reassign the candidate or reschedule the session. Repeated missed joins may impact scheduling in future drives.
Q8. What should I do if a candidate doesn’t join on time? If a candidate hasn’t joined within 5 minutes of the scheduled start time:
  • You can end the session and return to your drive dashboard.
  • The system will automatically mark the candidate as a No-Show and notify the recruiter. You can then proceed to your next assigned slot.
Q9. Who gets notified if a candidate or interviewer is a no-show? If a candidate is marked as a no-show, the recruiter receives an automated notification. If an interviewer doesn’t join, the recruiter is alerted, and a backup interviewer may be assigned. Both scenarios are tracked in the Drive Insights Dashboard for visibility.

2. Evaluation & Feedback

Q1. Will I automatically be added as an evaluator for candidates I interview? Yes. Once you complete an interview, you are automatically assigned as the evaluator for that candidate. You’ll receive an evaluation form link via email and can also access it under the Evaluations tab in Workflow Tools. Q2. Can I update my evaluation after submitting it in the drive? Editing permissions depend on your organization’s settings. If allowed:
  • Navigate to the candidate’s evaluation and click Edit Evaluation to update your feedback. Otherwise, contact your Recruiter to reopen your evaluation form.
Q3. What’s the deadline for submitting my evaluations in a drive? Submit your evaluations within 24 hours of completing the interview. Timely submission ensures smooth candidate progression and accurate reporting for drive analytics. Q4. Can I view my interview history for completed drives? Yes. Go to the Interviews section under your interviewer dashboard. Here, you can view:
  • Previously completed interviews in the drive
  • Candidate names
  • Evaluation status (Submitted/Pending)
  • Session outcomes (Attended/No-Show) This provides a record of your participation and feedback.

3. Notifications & Communication

Q1. Do I continue to receive notifications after being removed from a drive? No. Once removed from a drive, you’ll stop receiving all related notifications, reminders, and updates. However, your previous interviews and evaluations remain visible in your completed drive records. Q2. Will I get reminders for my upcoming interviews during a drive? Currently, no automated reminders are sent for drive interviews. Please monitor your Drive Dashboard or calendar invite to stay updated on upcoming sessions. Q3. Can I communicate directly with the recruiter or coordinator during a drive? Yes. You can contact the recruiter via email or internal chat as per your organization’s communication process. For urgent updates (like a no-show or technical issue), use the Notify Recruiter or Report Issue option in the drive interface (if available).

4. Technical & Access Support

Q1. What should I do if I face technical issues during a drive interview? If you experience connectivity, audio, or video issues:
  • Refresh or rejoin using the same Join Interview link.
  • Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge for best performance.
  • Check that your camera/mic permissions are enabled. If the problem continues, contact Talview Support via the Help option, and notify your recruiter.
Q2. Can I access drive details or join interviews from my mobile device? Yes, but desktop or laptop access is recommended for stability. If joining from a mobile browser:
  • Ensure your camera and microphone permissions are allowed.
  • Maintain a stable network connection. Some advanced features (like editing evaluations) may not be supported on mobile.
