Once you select an avatar from the recommendations list, the Ivy Avatar Builder opens a detailed profile so you can review the persona before making any changes. In this article, you will learn what information appears on an avatar’s profile and how to navigate it.

Step-by-step guide

  1. From the avatar recommendations list, click an avatar card to open its profile.
  2. Review the profile, which includes:
    • Name and role, for example, “Jonathan Roberts, Software Engineer”
    • Profile photo
    • About section, a short summary of the avatar’s professional background, expertise, and communication tone
  3. Use the Go back button at the top to return to the recommendations list. Your scroll position is preserved, so you won’t lose your place.
  4. At the top of the screen, you’ll also find:
    • Advanced mode toggle, for direct editing
    • Talk to [Avatar Name] button, to preview a conversation with the avatar
    • Publish button, to make the avatar live
Additional Tips
  • All information on this screen is read-only until you switch to Advanced Mode or use the chat panel to make edits.
  • If a section has no available data, you’ll see a placeholder message, such as “Add details” or “No data available,” instead.
  • The chat panel on the right retains the context from your earlier conversation with Livy, so you can continue refining the persona from where you left off.
