You can change an avatar’s visual appearance by selecting a new image from the available gallery. In this article, you will learn how to browse the gallery, apply a new visual, and update the avatar’s details to match.

Before you begin

  • You must be in Advanced Mode to change an avatar’s visual.
  • Changing the visual does not automatically update the avatar’s name or About section. You’ll need to update these separately to keep them consistent with the new visual.

Step-by-step guide

  1. On the avatar’s profile screen, with Advanced mode turned on, click Change avatar below the profile photo.
  2. In the Pick an avatar modal, browse the gallery of available avatar visuals.
  3. Click a visual to select it. The selected card is highlighted with a blue border.
  4. Click Select to apply the visual, or Cancel to close the modal without making changes.
  5. The avatar’s photo updates immediately on the profile screen.
  6. Update the avatar’s name and About section to match the new visual, since these fields don’t update automatically.
  7. Click Publish to save your changes.
Additional Tips
  • Since the visual and the persona details (name, About) are independent, always review and update the text content after changing the visual to keep the persona consistent.
  • You can scroll through the gallery to see more avatar options before making a selection.
