The Ivy Avatar Builder helps you generate AI interviewer avatars tailored to the role you’re hiring for. In this article, you will learn how to describe the role you’re hiring for and select an avatar that best fits your needs.

Before you begin

  • You must be logged in as a Master Content Manager or Content Manager.
  • Currently, only the Interviewer persona type is supported. Other types, such as coach, evaluator, or trainer, are not yet available.

Step-by-step guide

  1. On the Avatar Dashboard, under Who do you want to create today?, click the Interviewer suggestion chip or type “Interviewer” in the text box.
  2. Click the send button to submit your request.
  3. Livy asks what job title you’re hiring for. Type the job title, for example, “Software Engineer.”
  4. Livy asks which industry or domain the role belongs to. Choose one of the follow-up options: FinTech, Healthcare, SaaS, or EdTech.
  5. Livy asks how many years of experience the candidate should have. Type the experience level, for example, “5 years of experience.”
  6. Livy generates a list of recommended avatars based on your inputs. Each recommendation includes a name, photo, a short description of their interview style, their area of specialization, and relevant skill tags.
  7. Review the list. If none of the avatars feel right, click Show more avatars to see additional options.
  8. Click an avatar to open its detailed profile.
Additional Tips
  • Livy may phrase its questions differently each time. It’s not always the same wording, but it’s asking for the same information (job title, industry, and experience level).
  • If you enter a typo in the job title, Livy will still understand and generate suggestions accordingly.
  • Generating avatar recommendations can take a few moments as Livy builds out content for all the candidates shown.
