Preparation Checklist – Before the Interview

During the Interview – What to Expect
- You will undergo AI-powered facial recognition and be asked to present a valid ID to confirm your identity.
- Some interviews require an environment / room scan via a secondary device: scan a QR code, then slowly record a 360° view of your room to ensure a secure and standardized interview setting.
- The front camera of your smartphone or tablet, is used as a secondary camera feed to continuously monitor the candidate during the session. This will provide an additional angle for interviewers, allowing them to have a wider view of your test environment.
Interview Conduct
- Maintain eye contact by looking directly into the camera.
- Exhibit positive body language: sit up straight, smile, and be attentive.
- Listen carefully; pause briefly to gather your thoughts before responding.
- Don’t try switching tabs as you will be monitored throughout the session.
- Clarify questions politely if unclear.
Tools You May Use
- CodeJam – To type, edit, and test code live in a collaborative editor. Explain your thought process as you code
- Whiteboard – Allows you to draw, write, highlight, or erase to visually explain ideas.
- Screen Sharing – You can initiate screen sharing to walk interviewers through projects, workflows, or creative work directly.
