When Do You Need to Share Your Screen?
You may be asked to share your screen in situations such as:- Presenting a portfolio or project work.
- Walking through a case study or assignment.
- Delivering a PowerPoint or document-based presentation.
- Demonstrating external tools or workflows not supported within Talview’s built-in features.
Step-by-Step Guide to Screen Sharing

Join the Interview Session
- Click the Join Interview link from your invitation.
- Allow access to your camera and microphone.

Locate the Screen Share Option
- In the Talview Interview Room, click the Share Screen button.

Choose What to Share
You will see three options:
- Entire Screen – Shares everything on your desktop (use only if required).
- Window – Shares one application window (e.g., PowerPoint, PDF viewer).
- Browser Tab – Shares a single tab (useful for online portfolios or web-based content).

Confirm Sharing
- Click Share to begin.
- Your interviewer(s) will now see the selected content.

Stop Sharing
- Once finished, click Stop Sharing from the control bar.
Candidate Checklist Before Sharing
- Close unrelated tabs, apps, or private documents.
- Keep only the presentation/assignment materials open.
- Turn off desktop notifications (emails, messages, pop-ups).
- Test your presentation file or web link in advance.
- Use Google Chrome (latest version) for best performance.
