Setting up your availability in Talview Admin helps streamline the scheduling of future interviews. You can specify the days and time slots you are available, making it easier to coordinate with candidates. This guide provides a step-by-step process to configure your weekly availability.

Step to Setup Availability

Step 1: Navigate to the Availability Section

  • On the Talview dashboard, locate the sidebar or main navigation menu.
  • Click on Availability to facilitate easy scheduling of future interviews.
  • The page redirects to Workflow tools - panel calendar.

Step 2: Select Your Time Zone

  • Locate the time zone dropdown near the top-left of the availability panel.
  • Ensure the correct time zone is selected (e.g., Indian Standard Time) to align your availability with your local time.

Step 3: Add Availability Time Slots

  • For each day you want to set availability:
    • Click the + (plus) icon under the respective day.
    • A new time slot block appears where you can input the start and end times.
  • To remove a time slot, click the trash bin icon next to the corresponding time slot.
  • To replicate the same time slot to other days, click the copy icon next to the day name, this saves time when you have recurring availability patterns.
  • Once all desired time slots have been added and checked, your availability is automatically updated.

Step 4: Set Override Dates and Mark holidays (For Exceptions)

  • Scroll to the Override dates section below the weekly schedule.
  • This section lets you add exceptions to your recurring availability — such as time off, public holidays, or changes in plans.
  • To add an override:
    • Click Add an override.
    • Select the date(s) where your availability differs from usual, add a time slot and the click on save changes
  • To mark holidays:
    • Click Mark holidays and select applicable dates where you won’t be available.

Step 5: Choose the Viewing Mode

  • Toggle between List view and Calendar view as per your ease of use.
  • List view shows a simple tabular layout of days and time slots.
  • Calendar view (optional) displays availability in a calendar format.
Important Note
  • Ensure your time zone setting is accurate to avoid scheduling conflicts.
  • Overrides take priority over regular weekly availability for specified dates.
  • Keep your availability updated to reflect any changes promptly.
