Talview uses a mobile phone as a secondary device to support enhanced proctoring by capturing additional camera and audio input during assessments. This secondary device operates alongside your primary device to provide extended visibility of your test environment. To ensure compatibility, stability, and uninterrupted monitoring, your mobile phone must run a supported operating system (OS). ✅ Supported Mobile Operating Systems
The following mobile operating systems are supported when used as a secondary device, provided your organization has enabled secondary camera usage for the assessment.Minimum OS Requirements:

❌ Unsupported Operating Systems
The following operating systems and configurations are not supported for use as a secondary device:- Android versions below Android 10
- iOS versions below iOS 15
- Custom ROMs or modified OS builds (rooted or jailbroken devices)
- Emulated, virtual, or simulator-based mobile operating systems
- Devices running enterprise-restricted or kiosk-mode OS configurations
Additional OS Requirements for Secondary Devices
For reliable secondary camera performance, ensure the following OS-level conditions are met on your mobile phone:- Battery optimization, low power mode, and data saver features are disabled
- Auto-lock and screen timeout are turned off or extended
- The device allows background camera and microphone usage
- The OS permits continuous browser or app activity without interruption
