Talview uses a mobile phone as a secondary device to support enhanced proctoring by capturing additional camera and audio input during assessments. To ensure compatibility, stability, and uninterrupted monitoring, your mobile phone must run a supported operating system. Using an unsupported or outdated OS may prevent the secondary device from connecting or functioning correctly.

✅ Supported Mobile Operating Systems

The following mobile operating systems are supported for use as a secondary device, provided your organization has enabled secondary camera usage for the assessment.

Before starting your assessment:
  • Verify your phone’s OS version in device settings
  • Update the OS to the latest supported version if required
  • Restart the device after updates to ensure all system changes take effect
  • Confirm camera and microphone permissions are enabled for the browser in use
