JavaScript disabled in WindowsGoogle Chrome
1. Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
2. Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Site Settings.
3. Click JavaScript and ensure it is set to Allowed

Mozilla Firefox
1. In Firefox, type about:config in the address  bar and press Enter.
2.Accept the risk prompt.
3. Search for javascript.enabled and ensure its value is true. If it shows false, click the toggle  to switch it to true

**Microsoft Edge **
1. Click the **three-dot **menu and go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Site Permissions > JavaScript
2. Toggle Allow to enable JavaScript
JavaScript disabled in  macOSGoogle Chrome
The steps are similar to Windows:
Settings > Privacy and Security >  Site Settings > JavaScript > Allowed

Mozillla Firefox
1. Open Firefox and type about:config in the  adress bar. 2.Accept the warning and search for javascript.enabled  3.Toggle it to true if necessary

Microsoft Edge
Use the same steps as Windows:  Settings > Privacy, search, and services >  Site Permissions > JavaScript > Allow
Slow or unstable internet connectionEnsure you have a stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 250 kbps or higher.
Unsupported or outdated browser versionUse the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari, and ensure your browser is updated to the most recent version.
Browser extensions interfering with the editorDisable browser extensions temporarily, especially ad blockers or privacy tools, as they may block scripts required for the code editor.
Device performance issuesClose unnecessary background applications that may be consuming system resources or bandwidth.

Additional Tips:

  • If the code editor continues to fail after trying the above steps, switch to a different browser or attempt the assessment on another device such as a laptop or desktop computer.
  • Restarting your computer can help resolve performance issues and improve system responsiveness, which may be preventing the editor from loading properly.
  • Ensure that popup blockers are not preventing the code editor from opening in a new window or tab, as some assessment platforms may use popups for the coding interface.
