Talview integrates with Stripe, a leading global payment platform, to enable smooth and secure payment collection for exams, assessments, and certifications. With this integration:- Candidates can pay seamlessly through Stripe’s hosted checkout.
- Talview automatically tracks payment status and updates candidate bookings.
- Stripe enables local-currency payments for candidates, while Talview receives settlements in USD.
1. How the Integration Works
a. Booking & Payment Flow
- Candidate Books an Exam → Candidate selects the exam slot on Talview.
- Payment via Stripe Checkout → Candidate is redirected to a Stripe-hosted checkout page.
- Transaction Completion
- Payment Successful → Stripe confirms the payment; Talview marks the booking as confirmed.
- Payment Failed → Candidate can retry payment with another method on the same page.
- Talview Updates Booking → Stripe web hooks send real-time payment status updates to Talview.
b. Taxes & Compliance
- Stripe does not act as Merchant of Record.
- Stripe can display prices inclusive of tax (for clarity to candidates), but tax calculation and remittance remain Talview’s responsibility.
- Automated tax calculation or remittance is not enabled in this setup; tax-related configurations depend on the organization’s internal setup.
