For web-based Ivy AI assessments, use the latest versions of the following browsers:

Browser support extends to the latest three versions of each supported browser. Ensure your browser is updated before starting your interview with Ivy.

  • Desktop or Laptop: Recommended for the best interview experience with Ivy’s real-time follow-up questions and visual assessment capabilities
  • Mobile Devices: Available through the Talview mobile app for Android and iOS

For Web Interviews

To ensure Ivy can effectively conduct your interview with real-time listening and observation capabilities, your device should meet these specifications:
  • RAM: Minimum 4GB; 8GB recommended for smooth performance
  • Processor: At least a dual-core processor (x86-64 compatible) at 2 GHz, such as Intel Core i3, AMD Ryzen 3, or Apple M1
  • Graphics: 512MB internal or 1GB external graphics memory required; 1GB internal or 1.5GB external recommended
  • Camera: Webcam capable of at least 15fps with 320x240 resolution in color; HD webcam recommended for clarity since Ivy interprets visual cues during the interview
  • Microphone: Inbuilt or external microphone required for verbal responses
  • Sound Card: Functional sound card to hear Ivy’s questions clearly

For Mobile Interviews

If using the mobile app for your Ivy AI interview:
  • RAM: At least 3GB; 4GB or higher preferred
  • Storage: Minimum 200MB of free space; 500MB recommended
  • Camera: Rear or front camera with minimum 5MP; front-facing 8MP or higher recommended for video assessments
  • Audio: Inbuilt microphone and speaker; a noise-cancelling headset is recommended for better clarity during your conversation with Ivy

Internet Requirements

A stable internet connection is essential for your Ivy AI interview, as Ivy listens in real-time and asks follow-up questions based on your responses:
  • Minimum: 1 Mbps upload and 1 Mbps download
  • Recommended: 2 Mbps upload and 2 Mbps download
A stable connection is crucial to avoid lags or disconnections during your interview session with Ivy.

Browser Permissions

Before starting your Ivy AI interview, ensure you grant the following permissions in your browser:
  • Camera access: Required for Ivy to observe visual cues and verify your identity
  • Microphone access: Required for verbal interaction with Ivy
  • Pop-ups: Enable pop-ups for the Talview domain
Refresh the page after granting permissions to ensure they take effect.

Additional Recommendations

  • Close competing applications: Before your interview, close applications that may use your camera or microphone, such as Skype, Zoom, or messaging apps
  • Test your setup: Log in a few minutes early to verify your camera, microphone, and internet connection are working properly
  • Use a personal device if possible: Corporate firewalls or security restrictions on office devices may interfere with access to the platform
