Limitations

  • Extension requirement for instructors: If the Proview proctoring extension is not installed, the quiz proctoring settings section will not appear. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the course admin to inform all instructors within the organization to install the Proview extension on their systems to enable proctoring settings.
  • Manual proctoring termination: A stop proctoring button is required because proctoring cannot be stopped automatically as the exam is loaded in an iframe.

  • Proctoring in separate tab: Proctoring is conducted in a separate tab from the quiz. If the student closes the proctoring tab, they can still continue the exam in the quiz tab, compromising the integrity of the proctoring process.
  • Secure browser availability: SB and its features like screen protection & app blacklisting are not available for configuration yet.
