# How to Handle Tentative or No Response from Candidates/Interviewers?

This article explains what recruiters can do when a candidate or interviewer marks their RSVP as *Tentative* or has not yet responded (status: *Invited*). The platform provides built-in reminders, and recruiters also have options to follow up directly.

### 1. Check RSVP Status

* Login as a recruiter and open the workflow and open the **Interview step**.
* In the table view, hover over the candidate or interviewer avatar to see their RSVP status (*Yes, No, Tentative,* or *Invited*) under the Attendees column.
* You can also click on the interview card to open the side panel, where RSVP responses are displayed.

### 2. Rely on Auto-Reminders

* The system automatically sends reminders to candidates and interviewers who have not responded or have marked themselves as *Tentative*.
* These reminders are triggered according to the interview scheduled time and start time logic (30-hour and 1-hour reminders, or a single 1-hour reminder if the gap is shorter).

### 3. Follow Up from the Candidate Profile

* Open the candidate profile and click on the **Interview card**.
* From the side panel, you can directly call the candidate if additional confirmation is needed.

### 4. Reach Out Offline (Optional)

* If required, use offline channels like direct phone calls, emails, or WhatsApp messages to confirm attendance.
* This is particularly useful if the interview start time is close and the RSVP is still pending.

<Tip>
  Following up early helps avoid last-minute no-shows. Combine auto-reminders with a quick personal call or offline message to ensure both candidates and interviewers confirm their availability.
