# Why is the Candidate marked as “Invited” despite them confirming?

Sometimes, candidates may appear as **“Invited”** even though they claimed to have confirmed their participation. This can happen due to communication gaps, system settings, or candidate-side issues.

Below are common causes, ways to fix them, and additional tips to ensure the candidate journey runs smoothly.
