# Understanding the Global Candidate View

The Global Candidate View is a single, consolidated list of every candidate across your workflows in Talview's Workflow Tools platform. In this article, you'll learn who can access this view and what information it shows.

### Who can access it

* **Recruiters** and **Collaborators** see only the candidates in workflows they've been given access to.
* **Master Recruiters** see every candidate across the workflow, regardless of individual access grants.

### What the view shows

Each candidate row is organized into two groups:

* **Profile** - Status (e.g., Yet to Evaluate, In Progress, Invited), Resume Fitment (e.g., Not Generated, Potential Fit), Education, Experience, and Source (e.g., Recruiter Added, Open Application).
* **Workflow Summary** - the Workflow the candidate belongs to, the Owner assigned to them, their current Progress (e.g., Assessment, Interview), and their Latest Activity with a timestamp.

> **Additional Tips**
>
> * Resume Fitment shows "Not Generated" until the fitment engine has finished scoring the candidate against the job, it isn't a status you can set manually.
> * Source tells you how the candidate entered the workflow (recruiter-added vs. an open application), which is useful for tracking sourcing channels at a glance.
