# Why is the “Invite” option disabled during a Live Interview?

If evaluators are unable to invite additional panel members during a Live Interview, it usually means the **“Invite”** option is disabled for their role, organization, or the session template.

This guide walks you through common causes and step-by-step solutions to restore this functionality.

## 🔎 Troubleshooting Common Issues

| What Might Be Wrong | What You Can Do |
| :-------------------------------------------------- | :--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Organization-level restriction | Contact your admin to confirm that “Invite” is not globally disabled. |
| Feature not reflected after enabling | Log out and rejoin the session. Refresh the People tab to view updated permissions. |
| Browser cache or session issue | Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then rejoin the Interview. |
| Joined with incorrect role (co-evaluator, not host) | Ensure that you have joined as a host or panel member. Co-evaluators may not see the Invite control. |
| Template not updated | Log out and rejoin the session after enabling. Refresh the **People** tab. |

> **Note :** Guest Evaluators require a **whitelisted domain** before they can be added via the **Invite** feature.

  ### Additional Tips

  * Use a supported browser (latest version of **Chrome** or **Edge**) for real-time updates.
  * Invites to in-house evaluators are sent directly, whereas guest evaluators require a whitelisted domain. Contact your admin if the domain isn’t whitelisted.
