# How to create exam workflows

Coordinators need to create a new exam using an existing workflow quickly. In **Talview**, you can create an exam directly from the Exams list in the Coordinator Console. In this article, you will learn to create a new exam by selecting a workflow and adding basic exam details.

**1. Open the Exams list**

* From the Coordinator Console dashboard, go to the **Exams** list.

**2. Start creating a new exam**

* Click **Add Exam** at the top of the page.

**3. Select a workflow**

* Choose the **existing workflow** you want to use for the exam.
* Click **Next**.

**4. Enter exam details**

Provide the required exam information:

* Enter the **Exam Name**.
* Enter the **Exam Code**.

**5. Create the exam**

* Click **Add** to create the exam.

The new exam is created and appears in the **Exams** list.

  **Additional Tips**

  * Workflows define the steps and structure of the exam. Choose the workflow that matches your exam process.
  * Use a clear **Exam Name** and **Exam Code** to make the exam easier to identify in the list.
  * After creating the exam, you can open it from the **Exams** list to manage its steps and candidates.
