# How to specify a job role for an AI Interviewer persona

Talview's Ivy persona builder platform generates a list of interviewer avatars based on the job position you are hiring for. In this article, you will select a job position to populate the avatar list when creating an AI interviewer persona.

### **Step-by-step guide**

<div style={{ position:"relative",paddingBottom:"calc(54.02777777777777% + 41px)",height:0,width:"600px",margin:"0 auto" }}>

</div>

1. **Open the avatar list.**
   * The avatar list appears on the left side of the screen after you have entered a job position and selected a track.
2. **Review the available avatars.**
   * Each avatar in the list displays a name, photo, description, team, and skills. Review these details to find the best match for the job position you are hiring for.
3. **Select an avatar.**
   * Click the avatar that best fits the job position you are hiring for.

  **Additional tips**

  * Pay close attention to the skills listed for each avatar, as this is the most reliable indicator of whether the avatar is a good fit for the job position.
  * If none of the avatars feel like the right match, go back and adjust the job position or track you entered to refresh the list.
  * You can review as many avatars as you need before making a selection, as there is no limit to how many you can browse before moving forward.
