# How to view previous face capture submissions
When reviewing a session, you may notice more than one face capture submission on record, this could happen if the candidate experienced a disconnection or had to redo their onboarding. Viewing previous submissions lets you see every face capture attempt alongside its match result, so you have a complete picture before making your assessment.

### Step-by-step guide
**1. Expand the Face Capture subsection** In the **Candidate Submissions** section, click the arrow next to **Face Capture** to expand it.
**2. View previous submissions** Click **View previous submissions** to expand the list of earlier face capture attempts. Each entry shows the submission timestamp, a face thumbnail, and a **Matched** or **Not Matched** status.
**Additional Tips**
* Previous submissions are listed in chronological order, with the earliest attempt at the top.
* If only one face capture was submitted during the session, the **View previous submissions** section will be empty.
