# How to edit center details

Accurate center information helps administrators manage exam operations, communicate with candidates, and maintain reliable scheduling records.

Center administrators can update key details such as location, contact information, operating hours, and accessibility accommodations directly from the **Center Overview** page.

This article explains how to edit center details to ensure the center configuration remains accurate and up to date.

1. **Select the field you want to edit.**

   Each editable field includes an **Edit** icon beside it.

   Click the **Edit** icon next to the field you want to update.
2. **Update the required information.**

   Enter the updated or corrected information in the input field.

   Ensure that details such as **email address**, **phone number**, and **location** are accurate and properly formatted.
3. **Review your changes before saving.**

   Verify that the updated information is correct and free of typing errors.
4. **Save the updated center details.**

   Click **Save changes** to apply the updates.

   The information will immediately update on the **Center Overview** page.

Once saved, the updated details will be reflected across the center configuration and used for future scheduling and administrative processes.

| **Email**           | Contact email used for center communication                   |
| **Contact number**  | The primary phone number for the center                       |

  **Additional Tips**

  * Ensure the **contact email and phone number** are accurate so candidates and support teams can reach the center when necessary.
  * If you update the **location**, confirm that directions to the center remain correct for candidates.
  * When modifying **operating hours**, verify that the new schedule does not conflict with existing exam slots.
  * Editing center details does not affect **previous exam records or completed sessions**.
  * Only users with **center administrator permissions** can make these changes.
