# How to assign a Proctor and Proctor Lead to a Capacity slot

Proctor leads and proctors are assigned at different levels to ensure proper oversight during an exam session. A **proctor lead** is assigned at the **slot level** from the Capacity tab, they are responsible for overseeing the entire session across all rooms and candidates in that time slot. A **proctor** is assigned at the **individual seat level** from the Seat Allocation view, they are responsible for monitoring specific candidates during the exam.

In this article, you will learn how to assign both roles in Center dashboard.
