# Why Am I Seeing a “Virtual Desktop Detected” Error in the Secure Browser?

When accessing the Talview Secure Browser (TSB) for your exam, you may encounter a “Virtual Desktop Detected” error. This error appears when the system identifies that your device is connected to another system through Remote Desktop, Virtual Machine (VM), or screen-sharing software, or if you try to switch to a virtual desktop during the exam.

The purpose of this screen is to maintain exam integrity by preventing remote access tools or virtual environments that can compromise secure test conditions.
