Talview designed Ivy to ask relevant, conversational questions rather than follow a rigid script. In this article, you will learn the types of questions Ivy may ask and how the conversation is structured. *** #### 💬 How the conversation works Ivy asks questions in conversational English, one at a time. After you answer, Ivy may ask a follow-up question based on your response to understand it better. You respond naturally, just as you would with a person on a phone call. > **Note**: There are no trick questions. Answer honestly and clearly, and ask Ivy to repeat anything you didn't understand. #### 🗂️ Types of questions Ivy may ask * **Screening questions**: Basic questions about your background, experience, and suitability for the role. * **Interview questions**: Role-relevant questions that help assess your fit. * **Availability questions**: Questions about when you are available for the next steps. * **Scheduling questions**: Questions that help arrange the timing of upcoming interviews or stages. #### Example of a follow-up If Ivy asks about your notice period and you say you're currently serving one, Ivy may follow up by asking your last working day. This back-and-forth is normal and expected.
