# Why would Ivy call me again after I missed or dropped the call?

If you missed a call from Ivy, Talview's AI Interviewer, or the call dropped before you finished the conversation, you have not been automatically removed from the hiring process.

In this article, you will understand when Ivy retries a call, when it does not, and what to do if you need another attempt.

#### 🔎 Troubleshooting Common Issues

| What Might Be Wrong                                                                          | How to Fix It                                                                                    |
| :------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | :----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| You did not pick up, or you disconnected before completing the conversation                  | Ivy will automatically call you again, up to 3 more times, for a maximum of 4 attempts in total. |
| You picked up but did not speak, or you had already completed about half of the conversation | Ivy will not call again, and your responses are passed to the recruitment team.                  |
| No further call reaches you and you still need to complete the process                       | Contact your recruiter through your usual channel to request another attempt.                    |

  Keep your phone reachable and stay in an area with good coverage so the next retry attempt succeeds.
