# Why does my Ivy audio call disconnect in the middle?

An Ivy audio call, powered by Talview's AI Interviewer, may disconnect before the conversation is complete. This is most often caused by a weak or unstable mobile network signal rather than an issue with the call itself.

In this article, you will identify the cause and understand what happens to your responses if this occurs.

#### 🔎 Troubleshooting Common Issues

| :------------------------------------------------------------------------- | :----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| A weak or unstable network signal caused the call to drop midway | Move to a location with a stronger, more stable network signal and keep your phone reachable for the next attempt. |
| The call dropped early in the conversation | Ivy will automatically call you again, up to 3 more times, since the call was disconnected. |
| You had already completed about half of the conversation before it dropped | Ivy will not call again. Your responses so far are passed to the recruitment team for review. |
