# Why did I reject the Ivy audio call thinking it was spam?

Declining a call from Ivy, Talview's AI Interviewer, because it looked like spam is a common and understandable mix-up, particularly since the call comes from an unknown US or UK number rather than a local one. This does not mean you have been removed from the hiring process or that your application has been affected in any way.

In this article, you will learn how to confirm that the call was genuine, what to expect from the next attempt, and how to avoid missing it again.
