# Why can’t I share my screen during my interview?

Screen sharing issues during live interviews in **Talview** usually occur due to browser limitations, permission blocks, network restrictions, or device compatibility problems, and this checklist helps you identify and fix them.

### 🔎 **Troubleshooting Common Issues**

| Screen sharing button is not responding       | Update to the latest version of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Mozilla Firefox. Restart the browser after updating.      |
| Browser is blocking screen-sharing permission | Click the lock icon near the address bar, allow screen sharing or desktop capture, then refresh or rejoin the interview.    |
| Browser extensions interfering                | Disable ad blockers, VPNs, or security extensions. Try Incognito or Private Mode if extensions cannot be disabled.          |
| Multiple monitors or display scaling issues   | Use the primary display and set display scaling to 100%. Try sharing a specific window or browser tab if full screen fails. |
| Network instability                           | Switch to a stable Wi-Fi or wired connection. Turn off VPNs or proxies.                                                     |
